being WHOLE combines biofeedback in the form of a heart rate monitor, visual mindfulness, and behavioral interventions to help individuals who are feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, depressed and overall unsettled in life. The app starts by rating a persons level of discomfort and having them identify how they are feeling. They are then asked to engage in biofeedback as to collect their pulse. Participants will engage in a visual mindfulness activity, which will range in duration from 3 minutes, 5 minutes or 7 minutes (based on their selection). Upon completion they will have their heart rate assessed a second time to determine whether the intervention was effective.
After the mindfulness activity theyll be given the opportunity to identify a behavioral intervention that will help them decrease the feeling of distress in their life. Completion fo each task will result in rubies which they can use to help unlock additional mindfulness puzzles.
